Evening all-i really need to keep up with this thread more. I just read about some wrist bands? What are these? How do we join in with this? Its just me and dh. The group decided to get bands with the cruise name so that we could recognize who was from the Disboards when on the ship. I am keeping track of who and how many, I will put you down for 2.

Also are we still ok to join the fish extender? I dont want to sound dumb but just need to clarify (never done one before) Say for example its a stateroom with mum,dad and 2 kiddies-is it one gift per stateroom or do we do four-ie 2 x adult , 2 x children? We are doing one gift per stateroom so far but may add some additional things now that I know that I won't have to make gifts for 50 cabins!

Do we put our names on them so people know who they are from or is it a surprise? I will put our Dis name on ours

Never cruised or done a fish extender before and dont want to get it wrong.

Also we havent got a fish extender-do we make one or buy one? If its just me and dh travelling do i just put 2 pockets in it? You may want to do one with more pockets if you will be cruising in the future with more people. I don't know if you have kids.

I want to address a question that was brought to my attention about paying for the bands. When I get ready to order the bands I am hoping that most of you can either mail or paypal me the money. The others that live outside the country can just pay when I distribute them to you, in the terminal or at the meet etc.

Here is who I have for the Swashbucklers of the Caribbean rubber bracelet (bands) so far. I want to try to keep the cost around $1.00 per bracelet. We need to order 65-75 to get that price. We are already half way there so it shouldn't be a problem. No worries, we will just have to wait and see.

We need just 2 wristbands. We'll share. As for the FE gifts, wasn' thinking we'd cut off right now, just separate by 15's. Have to think at least another 15 will come along by cruise time. Because someone originally suggested cutoff at 30, that's what I bought for. Now we're down to 15's. I'll just sit tight and can hopefully still return some things in a couple months.

Can i just ask-i know the fish extender isnt being put into groups yet but when it is will it be groups of 15 still? Its just i have a few ideas and want to get started.

oienfam5 where are you from we are out in Lead/Deadwood area?

We are in Sioux Falls. So excited to have another SD cruiser on board.
we do make it out west river about three or four times a year and really enjoy it. Kids in hockey and conventions mostly but we make sure to have play time for sledding/snowmobiling.

So excited for you. Our first real family vacation was to Disney World for a week then did a 3 night Cruise. You will love it! be sure to plan in a rest day when you get home (a vacation from your vacation). We didn't on our first but have ever since.

So sorry we won't be cruising together. I know how hard it can be to cancel your plans. Been there...wasn't fun. Take care of yourself and watch for those TR's and photo's.

I will pay at the Meet or whichever is better for you on ship. We are in Scotland.

Oh and I think making the Groups smaller for FE is a great idea, I can spend a little more on them if there is less.

So sorry to see you go! We also are discouraged with the flights being so expensive this year. The prices have doubled what we paid last year and the year before. We decided to open a cc that gave us a lot of miles. Enough to take care of two of our RT tickets! I hope that you can reschedule your trip for a later date.
