Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

There were so many people at Lorna's last weekend, are you the one that I was chatting with about this? It takes me a couple of times to remember peoples names! If so, I am glad you took my advice and got on. My little one asks me every time we get in the car now, if it is time to go on the Mickey Boat yet.

I am and thank you for the information. So much to take in but fun! I posted this somewhere else in the wrong area. Still figuring things out. Shela

HI! I just started following this thread (my husband was the one who gave our info a couple of months ago) and I wanted to fill in the blanks. My husband is Marc, I am Angie, our DD9 is Grace and our DD5 is Leah. We are in cabin 7570, I believe this needs to be fixed on the FE list. I browse these boards all the time, especially now that I am trying to get some FE ideas. Just wanted to say hi to everyone!

Thank you for updating the info - it has been corrected on the 1st page and post #700. Please doublecheck and make sure it is right :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

Well, it's been a fun filled couple of days for us. We lost the hard drive in our computer on Tuesday, so now it's at the shop to see if the data can be recovered. So I'm posting this from my kindle, at least I still have access!

yep. we're excited!

thinking about staying at the new art of animation resort at wdw for the 2 nights before cruise. how far is this away from the port? not planning on going into the park - that's a vacation for another year. will that work? i mean, will we be sorry we didn't go to the park as well?:confused3 just seems like a lot for a 3 year old to absorb. any thoughts?

It's about 58 miles and will take - depending on the route - 1 hour to 1 hour 15 min.
Personally - I don't think I could be that close to Disney and not go. Remember - Disney is not just for little kids - it's for big kids too. There are a lot of three year olds that go.

You can always check and see if there's a Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party the Friday before the cruise. Then you'll get to see a little bit of the Magic Kingdom, and let your kiddo do some trick or treating at the party. We went last year, it was a lot of fun, and since we don't do the character lines, the rides weren't crowded at all. We're going to be staying the Saturday night we get back in, and see if they have a party then.

I've got a friend from high school who lives in Orlando and both she and her husband work for Disney, so we usually meet up with them for dinner one night when we go down, and we're going to try and hit the party this year!

I've never eaten there, but, I've also never heard from anyone who hasn't thought that it was totally worth it.

I don't think we're going to eat there, we're not super huge foodies (the best food in Paris was the Nutella Crepes!!!!!) and will probably stick with Palo.

I think we are only going to do brunch at Palos this time. We are going to wait for Remy's for another cruise.

We are hoping for a Halloween Party the night we get back or one the night before we leave!!!

We may try for a dinner and a brunch, maybe we'll get it, we'll have to see. I also don't think we're going to try for Remy this cruise either. We like the main dining rooms on the Magic, and we want to see how the new ones are on the Fantasy!

We are hoping for a Halloween Party the night we get back or one the night before we leave!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for the night we get back! I know we'll get one of those, maybe both!:woohoo:

I like brunch:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Where would you recommend I go for the majority of my research?

I am a frequent NCL cruiser and I find the cruise critic message board provides great information. There really isn't very much on Disney on that board. There is obviously info on the disboards but I'm having trouble finding what I want.

Is there an Official or Unofficial guide book that is good?

Here are a couple of examples of the info I am looking for:

On NCL, a spa pass is offered at the cost of $20 per day or about $100 for a 7 day cruise. This provides access to the saunas, not tubs, therapy pools, heated loungers. I does not include treatments. What is the Disney ship spa like? Would such a pass be available?

Where would I find the best description of extra charge meals such as Palo and Remy? Are those the only extra charge dining? How much? I've read about a brunch. What's that about?

I just really want to get as much detailed info as possible. Any suggestions?

Which NCL ship? Is that Epic? or all NCL?

I vote for Brunch, I have been High Tea, Brunch, Evening Meals.

I prefer Brunch...

That is also our plan right now. It may change by the time the cruise rolls around. Maybe I'll find an extra $200 between now and then! :rotfl2:

We are staying at Beach Club the day before the cruise and plan on just hanging out at the pool for the day.
That should be fine for your 3 yr old don't you think? At the Art of Animation hotel they have some really neat
theming that your 3 yr old should just love! Walking around there would keep me busy for hours.

By the way, we once took a week vacation to WDW and did not visit a single theme park (one waterpark though)
and we were just as busy as when we do visit the parks! There is so much to do at WDW.

So sorry to hear about your hard drive. This happened to me about a year about so I know how you feel. Hopefully you were able to recover your info.:thumbsup2

Wow...looks like you're really moving along. I'm still in the testing phase but so far so good. I've seen lot's of little ones Trick or Treating at MNNSHP but to tell you the truth we took Heather to Disney when she was 3 1/2 and she had fun at the time but doesn't remember anything except falling down at Ohana's.:scared1:

Hoping to get Palo brunch this time but who knows. We want to do a B2B on the Dream next year and will try for Remy's then.:goodvibes

Info and tickets should be available any day now. Last year we got our tickets on May 2nd...keep watching the Disney site.:thumbsup2

I would flip out if something happened and I couldn't use the computer! I am glad that you still have access. I can't even imagine! :faint:

We've got the laptop that we can use to get on line, but of course the spreadsheet that I had with the FE list and my gifts was on the other computer, so as of right now it's lost. We've got it out at a repair guy, the first place told us that it would cost $2,300 to get the data back!:scared1:

This one is pretty sure that he can do it for a couple hundred dollars.

I took mine to Best Buy. Don't know if you have one in your area. It was $150 to retrieve my files and that included an external hard drive of 250GB.:thumbsup2
