Yay, family trip to San Diego was just cancelled! So maybe I can convince DH to make a quick trip to DL instead! ;)

Since it's last minute, I've been out of the loop on how October seems to be shaping up. Do you think we might see lower crowds Oct 12-14 or 19-21 (Sun, Mon, & Tues)? I think a lot of AZ schools are out both those weeks. And Utah is out the second? What about CA? thoughts?? :goodvibes

12-14 will be busier but you will get longer park hours because Oct 13 is Columbus Day! A total of an additional 10 hours of Disneyland time and an additional 2 1/2 hours of DCA time!!!

Disneyland 12-14:
12: 8a-12a (+2 hours)
13: 8a-11p (+5 hours)
14: 9a-8p (+3 hours)

Disneyland 19-21:
19: 10a-12a
20: 10a-8p
21: 9a-5p

We're going the 12th-16th, and I found out that many of the AZ schools take their break either the week before or that same week. Also, as Sy said, it's Columbus day, and the extended park hours reflect that; they expect it to be busy on that Sunday and Monday. The following weekend is Utah fall break, but from Monday on it should be better. I guess I'd pick the later weekend.

oh, yeah, don't want columbus day! The longer hours don't matter since I have a 3 yo who can't stay out late.

My DH thinks I'm nuts since we're going for an entire week Dec 6-13. Month & a half difference... guess I'm just itching to use those APs another time before they expire. Sigh..
