The $1 million dollar question. I think they will have something, but on a very low level. Maybe a special but quick ceremony, etc.

The reason I think they'll have a little something is because last year Disney held their Halloween 5K race in the Magic Kingdom. This year they've moved it over to the Animal Kingdom. The race is October 1st.

That's pretty awesome news. With Halloween right around the corner it will be a popular event.

How sad that we are sitting around speculating "will they?" or "won't they?" The 40th Anniversary of the MK is a big deal IMHO and isn't Disney trying to get people into the parks? Why not have a celebration, do something special
and advertise it???? I asked awhile ago and Kathy read it on the show, if they would be doing anything for the 40th or if they'd just use it to sell a bunch of merchandise. Looks like it's the latter. What a shame.
