Oceaneers Club and Pool

We are planning to go on our first cruise this fall and kids will be 2&5. For our son who we will register for kids club activities we were wondering if they take them to the pool/ water activities. He is just learning to swim and we would rather him be around us when he is at the pool/Aqueduck. FWIW, we'll be on the Dream. TIA!

No, they don't take the kids to the pools while in the clubs.

I am a your activities Counselor. As PrincessSchmoo said we don't take them to the pool. We do however have a splash deck with trick water spouts on castaway at Scuttles Cove, there is always a Counselor supervising and there is no safety risk in regards to drowning at any time.

FYI: children must be potty trained to use the pools. No swim diapers.

Thanks, the 5 yr old is still swimming with floats, so hopefully by September will be good to go but just in case, we wanted peace of mind.

Just an FYI...the only "float" devices allowed onboard must be U.S. Coast Guard approved -- such as the Sterns PuddleJumper. The little arm band floaties/wings are not allowed. There are kids' life jackets available for free.
