Occupy Epcot...

It is almost time! In less than a week, my best friend and I will be heading to Disney World to "Occupy Epcot!" Please join us, as I chronicle our adventures, celebrations, and stumbles. We are setting out to see how much magic two moms (traveling WITHOUT the kids!!!) can find during The Princess Half Marathon weekend.

I am not sure everything that is in store for us but I can assure you that there will be stories of triumph, hijinks, and SHARKS!!!

Me- aka Maryanne (on the left). I am a stay-at- home mom to a beautiful five year old girl named Melody. I have been married to her dad, Josh, for six years. I am an avid lover of all things Disney (especially The Muppets) and WDW is just like what I envision Heaven to be. I used to be full out commando when it came to touring the parks; but unfortunately, I was in two accidents during the past couple of years that severely limit my mobility and what I can ride. Even still, Disney remains my happy place. I still love going, even if I am now much more of a spectator than I used to be. This trip is a welcome diversion from all physical therapy and medical treatments that I am still receiving.


Angel- aka my BFF. She is a an amazing woman who has recently divorced her husband and is now on an epic journey of getting fit and crossing off crazy adventures and challenges from her bucket list. She has become an inspiration to everyone who knows her, but especially for her six year old daughter, Isabel.

We are so lucky because our girls are besties too. We spend a lot of time together as the four of us , but this will be our first adventure alone as so-called adults!
