Online it says up to 5 adults in a room. I thought you could add an infant to make it 6. This has always been my experience at Disney World so I assumed it was the same. Called to update the guests on a reservation and was told no, 5 maximum, the infant counts. Anyone have any experience with this? Just wondering if it's worth it to call back and speak to someone else, or to book a second room.

Never hurts to make a second call. Better than finding out when you arrive.
Having to get an extra room might be an issue on arrival day. Many times the hotels are booked.

Good Luck

Infants count towards occupancy in CA. It's per the fire marshal, not Disney.

If you are able to get connecting rooms then you might find it so much nicer, but yes, ouch for the extra expense! I would think 6 is a lot in one of those rooms - and honestly babies are small but they pack a lot of luggage!!

It's definitely going to hurt but the rooms at GCH are small so you might really like the extra space.
