Ocala Visitors Center--does it offer discounts in advance?

or just the night you show up there? My DH is in the area on business right now and I wondered if he could run over there and book something for a future night. (I know this is a long shot!) Thanks!

From what I understand, they will book only a few days in advance at the most. Best bet is to call them at (352) 854-0770 and check.

I'm considering going up there to the Ocala centerwhen I arrive, May 15, and taking my chances at a deluxe room. Can anyone advise me as to my chances and what kind of discount I might find?

Dumbo or Bust on the DISCON board posted that she stopped the other day and got AKL for $169. ( I have a feeling that is not a Savannah view room) She was pretty pleased since a lot of hotels had been coming up sold out for her visit dates.

I guess I shouldn't be shocked at CM's giving out conflicting information. I have another thread you may have seen on this board stating that I called the Visitors Center today and the woman I spoke to assured me that there had been no discounts available to the Visitors Center to give to walk-ins or anyone else this entire year. She said she hoped WDW would give their system something to offer soon but she hasn't been given any hopes from Disney of this happening.
