My in-laws want to join us on our next trip (#4) they can really only afford a Cat 7 but from those photos the former sixes look like a great deal for a seven price. Could I request one of those when booking or do they just get a navigators?? Thanks Ann

It was great to see the photos of cabin 6634. I recently booked that cabin for June 21, 2003 using dvc points. Its an obstruction that I can easily live with--felt that I got more bang for my points.

If you want a specific cabin -- be sure to request it when you book.

I imagine that these were the cabins that were the topic of a long thread awhile back --- I didn't realize that they had been recategorized --- way to go DCL!

Just one question for Barb or Tony, Do the cat 8 handicap have a regular fold over couch or the murphy bed?

Really liked the fold over couch on our last cruise was looking forward to it next time. Are the murphy beds smaller than the fold over couches, lower?

Thanks for posting these, Tony. I'd hate to pay for a Category 6 and get one of these, but what a great deal to have one of these verandahs for the price of a Category 7!

Dave, you have sharp eyes...looks like you're the only one who realized that it was Tony and not me who posted the photos! He has been working hard on the updates. I managed to finish our three-peat trip report over the weekend, but it's on my PC upstairs (all 16 pages of it) and we don't have a floppy to bring it down! I might have to just send it to our downstairs PC as an email attachment.

6134, hey we grabbed it when they reclassified it to cat 7 for our next 2 cruises so long secret porthole rooms actually we had spr's but upgraded to cat 7 got spoiled on may 11th cruise in cat 4 so we now want at least a verandah and this willl do just fine
i donot think it is that bad BARB or TONY ??
