I understand that you can receive OB credits when you book OB for your next cruise. I know that some TAs will give you an OBC with the amount depending on the price of your cruise. My question is,,, I booked a "place holder" OB and I am researching for a cruise. I know, excluding the few blackouts, you can qualify for the 10% discount, so how much is the OBC from DCL? Does it change with the length of the cruise to be booked? We are considering a BTB. If the OBC is only for longer cruises or if it is larger for the longer cruises that may affect our decision. TIA.

For cruises of 7+ nights, OBC is $200.
For shorter cruises, it's $100.

Enjoy your cruise!

I have been booking on board and then transferring to my travel agent. I get the Disney OBC and then I get half the OBC from my travel agent. All in all in works really well for me as my travel agent handles all the details when I get home. For my agent depending on the category I book depends on the OBC.

And, to get OBC on both legs of a B2B, you would need to use 2 placeholders.
And to get placeholders for both legs of a B2B, you would need to go on 2 separate cruises to buy them (unless you have people with different home addresses). While you can book 2 placeholders on a cruise they are supposed to both be used on the same future cruise.
