OBB Credit - 2018 Itinerary?

Hi all,

We went on a cruise last January and booked a cruise for the same week in January 2017. We ultimately decided not to go in 2017, but want to book that cruise (or a similar cruise) in January 2018. Our PIF date is 10/16 and it doesn't seem like they will be booking 2018 itineraries by then. Is there some way that I can preserve our OBB credit for a 2018 cruise?

Yes, you can move your current cruise to a "dummy cruise" that will sail later in 2017 and then move that to your final cruise in 2018 when booking opens for that. I don't know if they reverse a real cruise back to a placeholder, but it's worth asking.
Remember that you have to sail within 24 months of the day you made your original OBB or the benefits will expire.
