Is Oalf found anywhere at the parks? My husband enjoyed Oalf and wondering if I can surprise him.

You'll need to head west to meet Olaf. He appears at DCA but not at WDW.

I think the closest you'll get in WDW is the Olaf on the A&E float in the FoF parade.

And you better hurry for that. He's "melting" 4/30 (I'm very sad as we aren't there till 6/2)

I heard his snow play area was going away, but not necessarily his meet and greet. I'm not sure anyone knows for sure.

When are you going? He was in the Castle show during Christmas last year. No one can say if he'll be back or not but there is a chance.

You'd think since they have the costume they could at least put him in the parade at HS for the Frozen Summer Fun stuff

I thought I read last week he was going for certain. I'll see if I can find where I read it. I've been following to know what to plan for our trip.

Yeah, if you have something concrete I'd love to know. We're heading that way again this fall and need to know if I should stop hoping.

I've read so much the past few weeks planning trips to both coasts back to back. I'm not sure I'll ever figure it out. I'm trying to read through my browser history but I'm embarrassed to say it's extensive. Whatever it was I read I remember it specifically mentioning Olaf and his leaving before he started melting in the CA summer sun. I keep hoping that changes and he sticks around. It would be a highlight for all of us

I am pretty sure he is participating in the HS FSF activities. There is an Olaf dance party thing so you would likely be able to spot him then. Maybe in the FSF parade as well. Also, they are saying he will join the cast on the stage for the Frozen fireworks instead of just being in the video like last year.

Good. It was rather disappointing for them to have nothing but a video or the Olaf on the stick last year.

I have a hard time figuring out Disney sometimes. As popular as he is and for as much as Disney puts him front and center in ads, I would think it would be a no-brainer to have Olaf in the parks doing meet-n-greets year round.

You might be surprised at the amount of people I have seen comment that there is too much Frozen in the parks already. I can almost see the eyes roll whenever they do announce something new and Frozen related. I think it is a no brainer too myself.

I'm almost afraid what the crowds for an Olaf M&G would be like. It could well put the waits seen for the sisters to shame, making it look like a walk on.

Found where I read it. Who knows the reliability. Are DL CM's as badly informed as WDW CMs?

from DLR Prep School Facebook post on 4/19

I learned the following from cast members within the parks and at City Hall. All information is subject to change, of course, but I wanted to share what I was told:

*Olaf's Snowfest will close April 30, 2015. You will not be able to meet Olaf after that date at another location. (Because he will melt with the heat, obviously.)
*The Frozen Sing-Along is expected to continue past May 15, 2015.
*The Anna and Elsa meet-n-greet is expected to continue past May 15, 2015. The FASTPASS distribution machine is still in the same spot as designated on the post.
*The Animation Academy is still featuring Marshmallow and Olaf, but other characters are being drawn now, too.
*Marshmallow is no longer out for meet-n-greets or photos.

Interesting. That's the first I've heard that. I wish I knew if it was reliable. I'll keep watching but brace myself for the possibility he might be gone.

Thanks for following back up!

Am I the only one who read the spelling of the subject line and thought the thread would be about the sounds you hear near the tea cups?
