Hi all!!! I've been reading for a long time now and thought I'd try this myself. I am wondering about Oak Planation in Kissimmee. I've read a few posts but I have lots of wonderings. Has anyone stayed there recently?

We stayed in November last year, not sure how recent you are looking for. Here are my thoughts posted previously:

"We spent November 1 = November 8th here and just loved it! The complex was on the small size, but nicely landscaped and very clean. We stayed in a larger one bedroom with living room area and full washer/dryer. My parents stayed in a smaller one bedroom with a combo washer/dryer. They found a great deal at 49.99 per night and were very happy with their one bedroom.

They had a 'dive in' night while we were there. It was a movie played outside by the pool - people seemed to enjoy it. The staff were very friendly. The complex is in a circle and the sign past the gate directs you to the Fitness Area, Activities area, pool area and ends with, "PS don't worry it's a circle". That sign made me giggle each time we drove in.

There is free coffee available each morning at the reception area. My daughter enjoyed going out to the gazebo and feeding the ducks. The staff were great about washing down all walkways several times a day. Both room locations were very quiet.

It was nice to have a bathroom with drawers and a medicine cabinet, you can tell this used to be an apartment complex. We enjoyed having these features. "

We stayed there May 3-8 2004, so just a little over a month ago. I rally enjoyed it. I knew nothing about it when I reserved it, well apart from what I saw on the internet...I booked the rate at 39$ back in January...It was the cheapest thing I could find(we are only a one income family,so I try not to spend alot on lodging).
Anyways, the place is VERY nice . It is not a big timeshare village, but big enough.
Its very quiet, the the condo we stayed in was awsome. We had the one bedroom, which had a king size bed, It was a totally separate bedroom. The living room had a queen size sleeper sofa, which my 2 kids slept on(Ages 9 and 4), there is a full kitchen, a full size washer and dryer. There is a huge living room. Tv in bedroom and living room. We were right across the street from the pool. There are 2 pools, both heated, as well as an interactive kiddie pool, and a hot tub. They have a small game room, and small playground. It does not have all the bells and whistles of a big time share. Like, there is no pool bar, and no stores or restaurants on property. BUT, it is quiet, well maintained, and the best thing is nobody bothered us to do a timeshare tour.It is like a block off if Hwy 192. I would stay there again.

WE stayed there the week of Memorial Day. We had some weeks banked through RCI that we did not use. We had a 1BR Condo right by the Pool. The staff was great and the resort was quiet and very nice. I would stay there again. It's very close to Medieval Dinner Attraction.
