Oak Plantation and Summer Bay Resort?

For those that have stayed at these resorts what are they like? We are just staying and enjoying the resort not going to any parks. What are the pools like? Do the units have a washer and dryer? Food shopping in the areas? Thanks

I have never stayed at Summer Bay but enjoyed a stay at Oak Plantation. I don't know if I'd recommend spending a week there without other plans. It's a small complex converted from apartments.

If you do a search you'd see some other comments. I enjoyed Oak Plantation, it's very close on 192 near WALMART and Midevil Times.

Summer Bay has a large pool with a tiki bar at the clubhouse. It has a lake that has a water trampoline and climbing mountain which they charge a small fee to use. There is a small water park/playground in a different part of the resort along with mini golf near the clubhouse. There are also smaller pools located throughout the resort.

They have scheduled age appropriate activities and some kind of "campy" like thing that goes on a couple of times a week.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom and yes we had a washer/dryer in our unit (the stackable kind). The unit was large with TV's in the LR as well as Master BR.

There is a publix super market practically on the property. There is an access road right after you pass the security gate that takes you into the shopping plaza so you don't even have to get on 192.
