Does anyone have a recipe for white chicken chili seasoning mix? The kind you find in packets? Don't want to spend money on a packet when I know I have the ingredients at home. I want to make this in the crockpot today! Thank you!

I'm interested in a white chicken chili recipe too. I bought the seasoning packet one and we loved the chili. I can't find this packet in the grocery store anymore. Does anyone know where I can buy it or who makes this packet? A homemade recipe for the crock pot would be good too.

I love the McCormick's Whit Chicken Chili seasoning packet, but I haven't ben able to find it anymore in the stores I shop in generally. I have one more to check, but I wonder if it was discontinued.

It's not discontinued, just bought several packets at one of our grocery stores that had it as one of their weekly buy1get1 deals.

13 oz can cubed chicken breast, drained and broken up with a fork (I usually use a fresh chicken breast, cubed and browned, too)
(4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers - I don't use the entire can, maybe half of it.
3 cans white beans - navy, white kidney, etc. - any combination - drained
1 can cream of onion soup
15 oz can evaporated milk (the bigger can)
chicken broth (1-2 cups, I use chicken base and make it myself - you could use one regular can)
Spices - a couple of teaspoons of each, to taste -
garlic - you can use fresh, or dried
onion
ground cumin
cilantro
oregano
cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients together - easier to mix the soup, spices, milk, then add the chicken and the beans. Simmer until hot. You can add more chicken broth if the soup is too thick. You can also use some jalapenos, if you like your food more spicy.

Serve with shredded cheese (I use the Mexican blend), oyster crackers or plain Frito chips.

Been making it for a long long time.

2 cans white or black beans [depending on mood and pantry]
1 medium onion finely chopped
3 cloves minced garlic
2 cans green chilis, chopped
2 t ground cumin
1 t oregano
1.5 t cayenne pepper
1/2 t salt
3/4 C cooked chicken [I usually just buy a pound and cook it up and chop into chunks]
14.5 oz chicken broth can
1 c water

Serve with sour cream, cheese, oyster crackers, etc. I usually make corn bread to serve with it. Either from scratch using corn meal [easy] or Trader Joe's corn bread mix [super easy and AMAZING].

Sometimes I add white hominy . If I use black beans I sometimes add diced tomatoes with green chilis instead of the 2 cans gn chilis.

Enjoy.

Dumb question here but is this throw in a saucepan, heat and eat? Simmer all day in a crockpot? I'm not much of a cook.

I cook mine all day in a crock pot. You could also cook on the stove for maybe an hour or two, as long as the chicken gets cooked.

I use similiar spices as listed above but add a Tbs or so of liquid smoke seasoning! It really adds to the flavor IMHO. Try a little and add more to taste!
