O/T Virtual runs

Thank you!! If I can't find one specifically for Juvenile Diabetes, that one might be the one I sign up for.

I think I will make it my first 10k since it has so much meaning for me. My DD was diagnosed at 15 and is almost 21. She has handled it so well, much better than I ever could. She is such an inspiration for me. She has only ever had one bad day in which she let herself feel sorry for herself and that was very early on. Now its just another part of her life. She also takes so good care of herself and keeps her blood sugar in check. Can you tell how proud I am of her? hahahaha :)

Not a virtual run, but you might be interested in Team JDRF - I saw a bunch of their singlets at Marine Corps on Sunday and it looks like they do everything from 5ks to marathons - and I see the WDW Marathon on the list.
 
Thank you. :) My biggest problem is I push myself to hard I think. haha I'm always trying to get a PR. I love my garmin. It really helps me keep track of my times. Once I sign up for a 1.2, ill probably follow some kind of training program. Right now I just need to get in shape and build up my endurance. lol

2 hours and 1 minute, that's great! :worship: I hope to be able to do that some day. haha

oh trust me cindy, I do the same thing, I always try and beat my PR, lol I am sick!! and now when I go to the PHM with my two friends I promised them I would cross the finish line with them, which means my PR will go out the window :( now offense to anyone!!!!!!
I just run faster then them, and not on purpose I try slowing down but even at a trot I am a tad faster :scared:
