I did it- I did it -I did it!!!!

Finally my last son just finished grade 12,,and he did it with honours.

I am so proud of him ,, .Accepted to College next year Broadcast Journalism. This is the kid I had to drive to school in his pj s kicking and screaming all the way.

During the past eight years of single parenthood there have been times when I just didn't think I could be a everything these boys (actually young men) needed but with faith and hope and a little pixie dust we are making it.

Can't figure out why I'm crying --maybe it's just the relief.
Anyhow just wanted to tell someone.
Hugs Mel

:cheer2: CONGRATULATIONS:cheer2: I still have a ways to go before my two DD's graduate grade 12 but I am sure I will cry tears of joy the day it happens. All the best to you and your family.

Congratulations to you, Mel, for getting them all to this point. (I know that there sometimes can be some "doubts" with teenagers. :rolleyes1 ) And congratulations to him for the acceptance into his program of choice. Does this mean that he will be elsewhere, and you'll be an empty nester?

Congrats - I know exactly how you feel. Mine just finished his first year at York and seems to like school (finally!)

Fiona

Nope no empty nesting going on here --I've a 24 year old son who seems determined to keep me company but I've given him a date of Sept as a move along date. He's a great person but seems lost in his career choice and life direction so I'm going to give him a little shove from the nest.

My middle son is living away from home this summer --Computer Program Analyst -entering his third year of study. Back home in Sept.

Third and youngest will enter College in Sept -Broadcast Journalism--but will live at home.

People do tell me though that I will miss them when they are finally gone but this remains to be seen. Right now all I see is stacks of :laundy: and a grocery bill that is so high it would choke a elephant.:rotfl2:

But I love them all .

Hugs Mel
