Sigh - that's my problem!! I've been looking after kids for 24 yrs now in either a daycare, pre-school or in my home..... need to figure out what I want to do when I 'grow up'. Ideally I'd like to work from home but not sure if that's possible!!

Having a "virtual office" is pretty mainstream now, so you need to make sure you're qualified in whatever field you'd like to work in, then keep a sharp eye out for work opportunities.

I have worked from home since my oldest son was 6mo (so, about 8-1/2 years now) doing office administration, marketing, recruitment, etc. I found my biggest client by simply going through our local paper's employment ads. Before my first child was born, I had worked in offices doing administration for over 12 years, so I was luckily able to transfer my skills to a virtual office at home.
