I started looking for some guide books for my Kindle or iPad and found Practical Paris by Karen Henrich. It's aimed at the US market for people visiting Paris for the first time and covers a lot of cultural differences that people may find a bit odd. It talks a lot about the various differences and covers safety and a number of other frequently asked questions that I see a lot here. It was available on Amazon Kindle and iBooks but I'd imagine also as a real book. I've only read the preview but I think for those people combining a visit to Paris as well as DLP it will be very useful.
I may buy it as it was only a couple of pounds, I liked the style and the "get over it" section where it reminds you there will be differences as you are in a different country but to get over them and enjoy the experience.
