Now if only I had one!!!!! No tree yet..hopefully this weekend!

Every year we say we want to try a Fir, and every year we buy a Scotch Pine. I have a big empty spot in my family room, just waiting....waiting...waiting....

What kind of tree do you usually buy? Is it up and decorated?

No tree YET?? My goodness! Ours is artificial and it was up before Thanksgiving! I hope you get your tree this weekend and that you try the Fir. Heck, got space for both?

Kim, mine is artificial, (all I have to do is take it's bag off, add a few fragile ornaments and it's ready) and it's still sitting in it's corner in the basement! "Maybe this weekend," too.

I guess it was Amid..lol! Asking him to pick out the tree for us, after 23 years of me choosing it.....well.....he cracked.....LOL!

I do have any artificial tree that I usually put up in the livingroom, the "formal tree", but this year, with DisCon happening, I decided to leave it in the box.

We get a real tree for the familyroom, and I hope to find the right one today.....or else!!

We don't have our tree either and there hasn't even been any talk about when to get it.

My tree is up, and decorated. It's an artificial spruce. After 35 years of live trees, I decided to finally purchase an artificial tree. I waited until they were 1/2 price and purchased a 6' spruce. Everyone thinks it real.

I have to tell you thought, I miss the live tree, loved the smell. I usually purchased spruces, but one year purchased a scotch pine. Ouch! They are beautiful trees, but you need gloves to decorate these babies. Those pine needles are killers when you step on them with bare feet too.

We have a fake tree too... put it up prior to leaving for DIS CON. I love the smell of the real thing though... so I always buy an evergreen center piece for the table... so I can soak up the wonderful smell.

The answer to your PM Vanessa is yes...........ROTFLOL!!

We got the tree!!!!! It is probably the smallest tree we've ever had, and fairly trim, also, a Scotch Pine once more. We almost bought something else, but chickened out..lol.

The needles do hurt Mamu, and I'm allergic to the sap. I have to wear long sleeves and gloves to work with it or I break out all over my arms and hands in a very dense, dark rash. In the end though, it's usually worth all the @*^%%$#@ !!

I have "I'm the happiest Christmas Tree, ho ho ho, he he he..", on a CD of Christmas songs. Nat King Cole sings it.
