We'll be in Disneyland but not doing the parks on NYE. It's me, DH, DD8 and DS5.

We're thinking of having NYE dinner at Napa Rose or Steakhouse 55. Do these restaurants have a regular menu or prix fixe menu for NYE? I thought I read that Napa Rose does a prix fixe for Christmas Eve. I think we'd rather eat off the regular menu so just wondering before we make reservations.

Thanks.:thumbsup2

I would make the reservations, they can be cancelled, if need be, but if you wait too long there will be no space available at either place. Would you be upset if someone said Prix Fixe and it did not happened?. I love both places to eat at, but I prefer SS55.

Either one would be a fabulous menu. If you're planning on eating at either, you know they aren't cheap. If you're worried about too much food, I've had Prix Fixe dinners at both restaurants and they serve a perfect amount of food even for a small eater like myself.

Both chefs are phenomenal, so you would probably be happy with either. If they offer only Prix Fixe dinners, there would probably still be choices. Since it's such a busy night it makes sense that they would want to limit the selections the kitchen has to prepare to make service faster and easier.

I'd pick one and make the reservation, you can always cancel it, but you can't book it once they're full!

I would book both and then cancel one once the decision has been made. It costs nothing.

Does anyone know if disney dining will let you book more than one restaurant for the same night? I wouldn't make them in the same phone call but do they keep a record by your name of reservations made?

I do it all the time, they do not care.

You can always book one under your DH with his phone number and one under yours. My DP and I do this all the time, but we don't have the same last names. However it does get confusing as to which name I book them under, often times I call while we're in the car and don't have anything to write it down on. If I have to change or cancel, I'm giving them all kinds of different names to find the reservations and we go out to the park so often that we have quuite a few reservations at any given time! :lmao:
