NYE at BCV's

Does anyone know if BCV's or any DVC resorts have a New Years Eve Celebration?? We'll be there for NYE this coming year. I know the parks will be wall to wall people- just wondering if the resorts do anything special??

The only one I know about that does a special NYE celebration is the GF. However, if you want, on NYE go to the bridge b/t BC and BWI and watch the EPCOT fireworks or go just inside International Gateway at EPCOT and watch the fireworks. That's what we did when we were staying at the BCV during NYE and it wasn't that bad. And you're right, the parks are wall to wall. We have tried MK and EPCOT on NYE and it's bad no matter where you go.

We were at wdw 2003-4 and staying at OKW. On NYE day we did mgm in am and then went to Epcot for around 6pm for dinner at 8:00pm at Teppanyaki. While we ate dinner, it began to POUR! When we got out of restaurant, we were walking in ankle deep puddles so we took boat from IG to BW where I got off with DS and DH went on to MGM to get our car and pick us up at BW. We got there around 10pm and the lobby was hopping! They gave out the same hats and noisemakers we had gotten in Epcot and they had clowns and jugglers entertaining kids and adults. I don't know if that is usual or because no one could really do anything at a park with the weather. We dried off, DS got new sweathirt to warm up and waited for DH to come get us(it was quite a wait as traffic all around was crazy with people checking in and others trying to ring in the new year somehow). We got back to OKW around 11:30 and watched the ball drop on TV.

NYE 2004-5 we stayed at Swan and left mgm around 11:30pm and took boat back to resort. We got to see the Epcot fireworks and the MGM fantasy in the sky from the resort and beat the crowds. You can do the same at BW area. I'm sure the outdoor BW area will also have stuff going on if weather permits.
