The Tree, Sax's windows, just the ambuance of NYC at Xmas time. Reminder that hotels are really really expensive then but if you can stay in NJ and drive or take the bus in. I live in northern NJ so feel free to ask any questions.

The Tree at Rockafeller Center - Go ice skating there or grab a hot chocolate at the cafe and watch the skaters

If you stay in New Jersey to save money ~ stay near a PATH station (transit train that runs 24/7). I'd recommend Jersey City. Both the Hyatt and Marriott Courtyard are near PATH stations.

When is the tree put up?

tree goes up and the lighting ceremony is "sometime" during the 3rd week of November - it has not been posted yet for this year.

hmmmm.... I just went to check again (I had looked a week or so ago) and now calendar shows the ceremony set for December 3rd (subject to change)
