NYC cheap?

I have only one wish for my birthday, to go to New York City and stand where my father stood, on the US Intrepid. I would need two airline tickets. Any ideas where to get them cheap?

Have you tried Southwest? They have the cheapest fares around, if you are a little flexible with your dates you are apt to find a good deal.

We were able to fly Jetblue from Orlando to JFK for $79 per person/one way earlier this month. Getting from the airport to midtown Manhattan in a taxi is about $50 plus tip one way. Nothing in NYC was cheap but it was an amazing vacation!!
