It is in consideration that we are going to New York City at Christmas time!! For starters i have never been to New York. Especially in December when it is cold and i have lived in Florida all my life so i am used to the hot! Any tips? Any must sees? Anything at all. We might be going with my aunt, uncle and cousins (just that one other family). Does anyone live around there??

nintendo world in rockafeller plaza was cool

NYC around Christmas time is so beautiful. This was my second year here on Christmas. I would definitely recommend seeing the Rockafeller Christmas Tree (duh).

I saw the rockettes Christmas spectacular at Radio City this year and that was really fun. Basically if you just walk around Rockafeller it's amazing. Definitely check out the Disney store around Christmas time too! It's so fun.

Also try central park if it has snowed recently. It doesnt USUALLY snow too much in dec though.

I live in NYC. Brooklyn, to be specific. Funny enough, I'm going to be in Florida during Christmastime. haha.

It is considerably cold, wear layers. It'll be tempting to stay inside to avoid the cold, but take lots of walks. You'll stumble upon interesting things and people everywhere you go.

2nd all of these.

NYC at christmas is almost as amazing as WDW at christmas

The must-sees at christmas are of course:

-rockefeller center tree
-rockefeller center skating rink
-Radio City Christmas Spectacular (i just saw it for the first time in december and it was awesome)
-5th avenue store front displays

Cant think of other ones at the moment. When ever I go to NYC I try not to plan everything out, I like just walking around the city and doing things as you stumble across them.

NYC Disney Store!! Just note...it should be preeeeetty cold so you better bundle up. There's a Hershey store at Times Square too. It's really big.

Go see the tree at Rockefeller Center and the ice skating rink. (You can go if you want but it's nice to watch).

Hmm...there's an NBA store if you like basketball.. Bloomingdale's windows are really nice during the winter. I love the Christmas store in there. Macy's store is nice, too.

Chelsea's is a huge food marketplace where they film some Food Network shows. They have some bakeries, seafood places, meat.. it's a quality food market. Pretty artsy. There are lots of photographs and paintings on the walls.

You could see the NYC Ballet production of The Nutcracker during Christmas. It's a very nice show.

I go to NYC almost every month, so here are some tips-

Go to rockefeller center and see the christmas tree and ice skating rink.
The macy's by Penn Station is HUGE and is really cool.
The Toys R Us in times square is really cool and it has a ferris wheel inside!
Check out all the places in times square.
Bring some winter clothes, it can get cold! (especially because you live in Flordia and it is warm there)

Any other questions you can PM me if you want, I know a lot about the places in NYC!!

Hope I helped!

haha thanks everyone! i hope is snows cause i have never seen snow before. That would easily amuse me

A few things most people don't know about unless they live in NYC

1 Rockerfeller center is going to be a mob it is kinda nice but in my opinion byrant park is much better, they have a big tree thats decorated, an ice skating rink that is free if you have your own skates, (you can rent some for five dollars)
2 Little Italy is also very nice to see they decorate the streets and its deff not as crowded as times square
3 A nice place to eat in times square is Bubba Gump, its a seafood place (they sell other things besides seafood) it has great views and it's cheaper than a lot of other places in times square.
4 Macy's windows are spectacular to see, IT WILL BE CROWDED, but deff worth the experience if you've never seen it.
5 It will be very cold like CursedCarolers said deff wear layers, thick socks, and comfortable shoes.
6 Above all have a great time enjoy the magic the city has to offer during christmas, it is truly a sight that everyone should see at least once.

HAVE FUN

Bubba Gump is the best place ever!! I went there and we were looking right over times square! The food was amazing and the price was very good for NYC. And I love it because it is based off of forest gump(the movie) and I love that movie.
