NY world of Disney

We are heading to NY city Sunday. I have heard the disney store there is closing soon. Is it still worth going too? I don't want to walk over there if there is nothing really left. Thank you.

It's three floors of Disney! I doubt it's empty, it's a big 5th Ave. draw this time of year. Worth a trip in, if you can get thru the doors on a weekend. It's usually packed.

We were just in the store on Wednesday. It was packed with merchandise and shoppers. If it is closing, it certainly doesn't look like it right now. And we found lots of unique things not available in most Disney stores. It's definitely worth a visit if you love all things Disney!

We went there last May, and the place was amazing!! I highly recommend going to see it!

Just went there today to say "Goodbye."

The store seemed well stocked, although there seemed to be less merchandise from previous years. It doesn't have as much as the World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

All of the NYC branded stuff is 40% off. They had PJs, Princess Ts, and other clothing that wasn't specifically NYC, but the sewn-in label said NYC so it was on sale.

I also found out that they give an Annual Passholder discount. Of course I didn't have mine on me!

So, go! They close on 12/31.

that's a shame. i worked around the corner from the store until i had my son 5 months ago. if i was having a bad day i would sneak over there for a little instant happiness.

We were there exactly two weeks ago and yes...still worth going. You would never know that a closing is planned. The store was full of beautiful merchandise and very well staffed. Absolutely worth the trip for any Disney fan.
