This is our first trip to Walt Disney World
The cast:

DH29-Babe
DS11-Sci-Fi Guy
DS9-Loudboy
There it is! The sign for Pop Century Resort. Now I'm nervous, will this trip really be everything I've hoped for? We get off the bus and proceed to the check-in line. I tell the guys to go and look at the collage wall to keep them busy. They opt for relaxing on the couches. As I check in, the CM asks if I requested a room in the 70's facing the foosball. "Yes." "It's all ready for you." Thank you again God, I was really worried about this. As we walk to our room the kids and Babe are astonished by the giant sculptures and the pool. It was everything I imagined! I was so happy as I watched their amazement, it felt like it was all done just for us. We got to our room and I thought Babe would complain about the size of the room but he thought it was great. "Thanks Mom, for getting us a cool hotel." The boys are always so grateful. As always, he immediately laid on the bed, I should have asked for a room without beds cause it's so hard to get him up again. We quickly changed into shorts and headed out to Everything Pop for some much needed lunch.
Now here's the test...will everything I learned on the DIS really be possible? We want to order a double cheeseburger and an extra bun. No one else is doing it and Babe doesn't think they will do it. "But I read it on the DISboards, so it must be true." I explain. So I give it a try and YES, it worked! We got an extra bun for $0.69! We made our 2 burgers and they were delicious!
Time to hit the parks! We get on a bus for Magic Kingdom and are so excited! Magic Kingdom sign, and now it hits Babe. He said he wouldn't believe it till we were there and I can see his expression has changed. Is that actually a smile on his face? We get through bag checks and the entrance, but it doesn't seem like we're there yet. I'm walking ahead of everybody, trying to get to the castle, I must see the castle. There it is! I have the feeling that this is actually a dream and any minute I'll have to wake up. But it isn't! We're actually here! And apparently, so is half the United States. Now it's about 3 pm on a Saturday and a parade is about to start so the entire population of the park is on Main St. I immediately look at Babe to make sure he's still breathing and quickly explain that this is a good thing. While everyone is watching the parade we'll ride the rides. He looks relieved.
We head on to Adventureland and ride our first ride, Alladin's Carpets. Then we head on to POTC, but no one else was there. Since there was no line, I didn't know where to go, but Babe starts heading down a cave hallway and now I'm terrified. Now, when I was 3, we went to Disneyland and I remember a couple of rides and this was one of them. I've been so excited about riding this ride and now that we're there my knees are shaking. I have a flashback of riding this ride and hiding my face in my mother's back terrified. This is ridiculous! I'm 27 years old and why am I afraid. We get right on the boat and Babe is on the other end with the kids between us. I'm so scared! I finally stopped being afraid when I heard the Yo Ho! song.
We head on to the Tiki Room but the show had already started so I try and find some Dole Whips to cool us off. On our way, we see Genie and line up for Loudboy to get his autograph. The boys go up and I take a picture of them with Genie (or the Giant Smurf as Sci-Fi Guy calls him), then they are ushered to the next line to meet Jafar. This guy totally freaked me out! I couldn't stop looking at him, but I was so scared of him. Something about him, I think the eyes, was just soooo creepy! I hope he's never in my nightmares!
We find Aloha Isle and get the most wonderful dessert I've ever had! We found a cool spot to sit awhile, because it was sooo hot! After that I told the boys to go up to the Tikis and they got soooo wet. It was funny, because they weren't expecting it!
Now for a big ride! On to Big Thunder Mountain. I quickly escort everyone through Frontierland and I see Sci-Fi Guy getting nervous. He has a really weak stomach and doesn't like big rides, but he agreed to ride this one. We get in line and he rides with Babe while I ride with Loudboy. Me and Loudboy love big rides and laugh the whole time and Sci-Fi Guy's screaming makes us laugh even more. Yes, I'm a bad mother, I laugh. Well he survived and now on to Fantasyland. As we pass through, we see building to meet Jessie & Woody, so we pop in there for a photo and autographs. Jessie took off Babe's sunglasses for the picture.
Now, remember this was a Saturday and the kick-off weekend of the 50th and Mother's Day weekend and Fantasyland was crazy! We did Philharmagic and loved it! I kept the secret about getting wet and everyone was surprised.
We got some more autographs from Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and the White Rabbit. Then we rode the teacups. I was so excited to ride the teacups and rode with Loudboy cause he likes to go fast. Babe & Sci-Fi Guy rode together cause they don't. I was videotaping while Loudboy spun and Babe and Sci-Fi just sat in their teacup and didn't spin the wheel! How can you not spin in a spinning teacup! Loudboy wasn't going fast enough and wanted my help so I put down the camera and started spinning as fast as I could, but it still wasn't fast. We got off (not dizzy at all) and I said, "That was so cheesy, last time I rode, it was fast." "Weren't you only 3?" Babe asked. "Oh, yeah." I said. We rode It's a Small World and loved it! That song is still in my head.
After Fantasyland we headed on to Tomorrowland, we'll save Toontown for another day. We rode the Speedway and I couldn't control my car. I kept swerving from left to right like a crazy woman. I was worried I'd go off the track. After that everyone was hungry, so we ate at Cosmic Ray's. Babe ordered the rotisserie chicken but said it was too greasy. We did like the "live" entertainment though.
We rode Buzz and the boys wanted to do some souvenir shopping. We were letting our food settle before we tackled Space Mountain. Sci-fi Guy wasn't so sure about this ride and I almost took it off the list. But I knew he'd come around. I think the fact that he couldn't see it helped him agree to ride. We had fastpassed it and now it was time to ride. We quickly went through the line and when it was almost time to get on Sci-fi looked worried. I realize that everyone sits alone and he's used to sitting with one of us next to him. I tell him it'll be okay. Babe gets in the front seat, with Sci-fi behind him and Loudboy behind him. I get in the next car behind them. The ride starts and it was so fun, but I'm a little worried about Sci-fi. He tends to squash himself down and sideways whenever we ride a coaster, but someone is always there holding him. As we're riding I can see his sillouhette getting shorter and Loudboy yells, "Mom, he's passed out!" "No, he's not!" I yell, I hope. The ride ends and he's okay. We loved it, but he didn't. "It's not too bad." he said. Loudboy says, "I thought you fainted."
It's 7:30 and I tell them we better get a place for the Spectromagic parade. We go right in front of the castle and get a spot behind of four layers of sitting people. We're standing for like an hour and the CMs start telling all the people with strollers that they have to move them back. Parents are mad and start getting up and taking kids and stuff out of strollers. Everyone except the people in front of us. There was a mother and she was waiting for her husband and told the CM she would move it when he came back. He did come back and she told him what they said and she wasn't going to move it. I didn't care, it wasn't bothering me. I surprised the boys with the glow in the dark sticks and light up Peter Pans I had bought them on clearance from the Disney Store. "Thanks Mom!" they said. The parade is about to start and the people beside us start telling the woman in front to move her stroller. She says no, she was here first. They say they were there first and she parked her stroller in front of them. The man beside us tells her that the CMs told her to move it and she just sat on her butt. She says she's not moving it and her husband sits in it! He sat in it the whole time! The parade started and was fantastic! Well worth the wait!
At 9:30 it ends and I know the guys can't wait till 10 for the fireworks. Frankly, I don't think I could make it either, my feet were killing me and remember I'd only had 3 hours of sleep. I say, "Let's get out of here now, before everyone else" and no one argued with me. We head out, against the flow of the crowd holding hands like a preschool class on a field trip. We find our bus stop and then had to stand in the bus. Babe stands right in front of the rear/side exit with the steps and the stickers say that if you touch the door it will open automatically. I was so afraid that Babe would fall out of the bus on the sharp turns, I had him in a death grip. We got to Pop with everyone still intact and headed straight for bed. The kids said, "Thank you Mom and Dad for bringing us here, we love you." We gave each other the look that means "We're so blessed to have these boys," and kiss them goodnight.
As we were going to bed, I said, "Hey Babe, did you notice that not once today did we have to tell Loudboy to shhh or lower his voice (which we have to do 10 times a day at home)." Babe says, "Well I guess we found the perfect place for him," and we nod off.
