You and your family are amazing. You experienced what Disney is all about and you made the rest of us see what we were too busy or too tired to "get". Thank you.
I am sad to see it end. I only stumbled on your posts today and read all of them together. Thanks for a great trip and I look forward to another next year.
Thank you so much for your report. I too have had that feeling when it is the night before we leave. I really loved how you said it was just the four of you in a bubble of joy and togetherness. What a wonderful family!
We didn't get to see any fireworks at all as DS(5) couldn't keep awake that long having been up so early every day! Next time we're planning on spending the first week on the Gulf to acclimatise to the time before driving back for a week at US/Disney - but as DH says about 10 years time I don't suppose staying up late will be a problem - except for DH and me
Thank you!! That was one of the best trip reports I've read. BTW, you should try to plan a trip to Disneyland in California. They have an awesome Indiana Jones ride...it's my favorite Disney ride.
I missed out on a few in the middle which I'm going to search for now. I just wanted to say I love the way you wrote those reports and it sounds like a truly magical trip.
I could totally relate to the incident when your son's eyes welled up with tears when reality hit. I remember that too so clearly - our last night in WDW my 11 year old was lying in bed and went really quiet and when I looked at him he had tears in his eyes and said he didn't want to leave. 8 months on and he still talks about that holiday all the time - little does he know that we're going back in October. I saw on the restaurant thread that you're going back too. Yay!
