So, I posted a thread a few days ago about how to best address the fact that dd's school is now nut free (and healthy foods only). So thanks to everyone's advice, we went to the Mustard Seed Market today and found the following:
Sunbutter
Trail Mix ingredients- Most of the mixes had nuts in them, but i bought the ingredients separately to make a mix with dried cranberries, dried blueberries, dried apples, and non-peanut oil processed sunflower seeds. Please tell me if I overlooked something with nuts in it?
Eggs- For hard boiled eggs
Whole Wheat Pita and Hummus
Whole Wheat Wraps (to make pinwheels)
Apples
Spelt Pretzels
I'm off to our regular supermarket for plain old WW bread, veggies, cheese, yogurt, lunch meat, etc.
P.S. This was harder than I thought because of the peanut oil factor. What about granola? What is granola exactly? I mean, I know what granola is...we eat it all the time. But what is actually in most granola? Is it nuts?
What about oats?
Thanks!
