Nurse from UK and Swan Discount

Hi - I am a registered nurse in the UK and just wondered if i would be eligable for the discounted rate at the Swan and Dolphin. Due to stay at AKL from 11/26 for 5 nights, then thought we would like to go back to the WL for last three, but there is availability at both Swan and Dolphin, for $149 nurses rate. It does seem such a good deal, I just hope i would be able to get it. Any idea what sort of ID is required.

In the US we have a state license. That's what I would bring.

If you have some sort of a professional license form, or professional ID for your hospital/nursing facility that should work.

I don't see anything that states you have to be a US nurse, so I think the discount would apply, but you could call them to make sure, or double check when you make a reservation.

I'd say call the hotel and ask. The phone number is most definitely on this site. I would hate for you to get all the way there, thinking you can get the nurse's discount for you just to be turned down. Better safe than sorry! I don't see a reason why they wouldn't let you though.
