Number of people in CR

Help! We have ressies for 5 at CR- DH, DD 4, DS 8, and DS 13. A very good friend has had an emergency and asked us to take her DS 13 with us. We leave in 5 days and it's impossible to change ressies. DD just turned 4. If she was still 3, there wouldn't be a problem.. The extra DS 13 will be arriving later...will anyone notice the "extra " in the room? Any suggestions?

I personnally wouldn't try to get away with the extra in a room without okaying it first with Disney (I'm the worrying type and would be afraid of getting caught). Plus you wouldn't have enough towels and such for the extra person. Have you tried contacting Disney about the situation at all? Maybe getting an upgrade to location that can accommodate the extra person? You didn't give much info. Will the parent of the extra 13yr old be willing to pay you for the cost of needing to upgrade your accommodations? If not, under the circumstances would you be able to post pone your trip a week ? I think if you are at least 5days out, it is still possible to do this - and maybe even less if you explain to Disney that this is an emergency situation

I'd either try to postpone a week or upgrade to larger accommodations such as the FW cabins - I think they accommodate up to 6people or the DVC villas.

I don't know if any are available but isn't there a larger room in the wings that accomodates 6 people. Can't remember what they call it, but I remember the price not being to high considering. Good Luck.

Just looked on wdwig.com and it listed the Standard view Jr suite, I think this is what I remember reading about, Call and let CRO, or the CR directly know what the situation is and see what they suggest, this room may work for you if it's available.

Thank you all sooo much...this has turned from a dream vacation for my family to a nightmare, but we are trying to make the best of it....I'm going to try the jr. suite idea right now..thanks everyone for such fast replies!

We stayed in the JR suit at the CR and it actually only sleeps 4. It is a big room, but only has 1 king and a fold out couch. Maybe if you call and explain to disney the situation they may allow for an extra person in the room and bring in a cot. It would be a tight fit, but the rooms are actually big enough for an extra cot.
