Number of days for DHS in November

As the planner in the family, I've started my customary spreadsheet showing days in each park, ADR's, Parades, etc. DW and I will be there November 10-18, spending one day at Universal and the rest at WDW.

I've got two days planned for DHS but given the current closures and construction, I've been wondering if that is too much time in that park. For those who have been recently, and given the time of year when we will be there with lower crowds (hopefully), what are your thoughts?

We are not planning two full days, but I am planning two evenings, so we can see both F! and the Star Wars Spectacular. There are ways to see both of them on the same night, but it requires missing the last part of F! and hustling out of the theater over to the main drag, and then you're not in a very good position to really appreciate SWS. We're on vacation and don't plan on hustling to anything.

There are some people who would say that one day is too much. I'm guessing most will say that two is definitely too much. I could see spending two days in the park if I park hopped. For example, if I wanted to watch Fantasmic one night and the Star Wars fireworks another night (it can be difficult to do both and get a good view). Otherwise, one day is probably enough.

I am also going in November and we are allocating one day and we may even leave for a mid day break and then back to see Fantasmic. But, I don't like ToT so I save some time there. For us, this is our least favourite park. I think 2 days would be too much.

We do have Park Hoppers, so I had thought about hopping (or boating) over to EPCOT then back to see F! one night and SW the other, should we stay all day in DHS. I enjoy ToT, RnR, TSM, but I can see it getting a little tiresome as DW does not ride ToT and RnR!

Last time we went, we arrived mid-afternoon. I did RnR and ToT while DW and DD did Beauty and the Beast. We also did Star Tours, Muppet 3D, table service dinner, TSM, character meet and greet, and had plenty of time to kill before we split up again for me to see the Star Wars fireworks and DW and DD to see Fantasmic.

A full day might be too much if you arrive at rope drop, but it depends on what you want to do. We would have arrived earlier and done more, but we have APs don't feel the need to squeeze everything into a day that we used to.

If you don't do RnR or ToT, that could cut a significant amount of time from your schedule as well.

ToT is my favorite ride and I love stormtroopers so I usually spend 2 or 3 days there. I find plenty to do, but I also just enjoy wandering around savoring the ambiance. But I'm in the minority. :) I think most people would say one day is enough or maybe 2 half days if you want to see both SW and F!

Parkhoppers all the way! We were there 8 days, visited HS one evening for a few hours and had a whole second day there from rope drop to dinner. Some in our large party went back a third night for more RnR & ToT.

We have 1.5 days planned there and I am hoping to do everything we want. Just depends on the group I guess.

The last time we didn't have hoppers, we spent THREE days out of eight there. There aren't a lot of rides, weren't then either, but the ones there are really good. We also enjoy the shows. Fitting the shows in is the difficult part of HS. Also, IMO only Epcot has dining options better than HS--so many fun places to eat.

If you are like me and can't stand Star Wars, then a half day is too long! Two evenings are pretty much required if you wanna see fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks. But I think 2 full days is too much for everyone but the most die-hard Star Wars fans. Probably 1.5 days, or two half-days if you're efficient planners.
