So I'm trying to get a couple of rooms (since I was lucky enogh to win 4 two-day, two-park passes to Universal) and we have AAA.

Now - Loews site suggests you can do 3 adults and 2 kids (they're under 6 so pull-out sofa material) in a room but AAA says I have exceeded my adult limit with 3 and need another room? This is for HRH. RPR is sold out (of course) at least for AAA discount. (I'm looking mid-Decemer just before school is out.)

Since I need to buy one more ticket for my mum, maybe an AP makes sense. We can get AP rates on a room at RPR.

Decisions, decisions.

We live 5 hours from Orlando, and I'm pretty sure we would use the AP again. Also, since we typically stay less than four days, I think that makes the AP lodging savings worth it.

Appreciate any thoughts.

You can have 5 people in a room with a max of 4 adults in a normal double room. You can have 3 people in a king room. I suggest you call Loews directly. They will give you the AAA rate.

You will be paying extra for each adult over 2 adults in a room.

Thanks.

Got hold of AAA and apparently it's a computer issue that is not allowing you to have the extra adult.

At the moment, getting the annual pass is looking like the better deal by a hair, and then, considering potential trips, by an even larger margin.
