Number generators? Is there a bug?

Hi, all!
I am trying to start a game with the number generators. My only problem is that I can't seem to get all of them working at once (not at the same time, per se, but rather all working together in the room) . Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions. I have tried teleporting out of room and back, leaving room through door, leaving room through globe, switching out generators with new ones and finally moving them away and back again. I really want to start this game. I think it can be really fun and full of prizes! Anyways, any help would be appreciated!

BTW - thank you jellyrolls for testing the generators out for me. I thought if someone else activated it, it would work. Guess not! LOL

When I have a problem seeing the numbers, I pick it up and hold it in my inventory for 5 seconds. When I put it down it is usually working. If not, I repeat until it does
