Hi all....yet another question for you.
I'm a newbie, still working my way up to two miles a day. For the last two days I've noticed that around about the 1 mile mark, my left foot starts to feel like it has been injected full of novicaine. I know...weird!!
It is such an odd feeling. My whole foot feels suddenly like it is this HUGE swollen thing, and I have no real feeling from the ankle down. Once I stop the treadmill and just gently walk around for less than 10 minutes, it settles down.
I checked that my laces weren't too tight. I was hydrated okay. My right foot was just a little tingly, while my left seemed to go ape.
Is this normal for starting out? Normal period? Any suggestions? I mean, I'd EXPECT to have numb feet at the end of a long race, but one mile in?!?!
Thanks in advance (once again!).
