We have FOP booked for our first day in Pandora this October!!!!! Yay! Plus we have ROL FP+ booked on the same day. We also have a 4 year old too short to ride Pandora, so we would like to take her on NRJ, perhaps during the wait for rider swap? we can't try for a 4th FP+ because of the ROL FP+. Does that make sense?
Would the standby wait time be too long to have the 'babysitter' and DGD4 ride and then babysitter get to go back with the baby swap pass to ride FOP with someone else afterwards?

We are a party of 5 - three adults, one DGD7 and one DGD4. (DGD4 also recently had open heart surgery. She has been given the OK to go to WDW, but we have a note from the Doctor saying that she should not spend a lot of time standing in lines. She has to go slow. So, that is a concern for NRJ wait times as well.)

Any input/suggestions on the best way to do this would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Navi River Journey standby line can range from about 30 min up to around 100 min. Right now at noon it's at 90 min

If she can't stand in lines for long you can look into getting a DAS pass

OK, that sounds like a long time for her. :sad1:

So, a DAS pass - guessing that is something like DisAbility Standing pass? I think that I have read something about this in the past, but never paid much attention because we, fortunately, have never needed it before.
How does a DAS pass work and where would you buy/apply for one?

Thanks for the help!!!

Here's some basic info:

https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/disney-parks-disability-access-service-card-fact-sheet/

Also, I don't know for certain, but I've read (and it makes sense to me) that if the accommodation needed is directly related to mobility limitations, you'll be advised to rent a wheelchair rather than get one of these DAS cards.

When we were there on 8/27 the stand-by wait time at 9 pm was 5 minutes! We rode it twice.

The rider swap pass for FoP will allow the babysitter and up to two additional people to ride, entering via the FP line. So the babysitter and the 4 year old could get FP for NRJ (the babysitter won't need one for FoP) and ride that while the rest of the party rides FoP via FP.

Does the child that cannot ride (too short) need a FP for the rider swap to work? Or can she have a FP for another ride at the same time?

The DAS pass you get at guest services I believe. When you get it you go to a ride and get a return time so you can go do other stuff instead of waiting in line. It's not given out to someone with say a prosthetic leg or bad knees, etc. It's given to people that have a condition that hinder them from waiting in a line. Like for the girl if she were to pass out or get ill from waiting in line, she'd get the DAS pass.

No, the too-short child doesn't need a FP for that ride - and neither does the babysitter. The rider swap pass serves as the babysitter's FP, which enables the child & babysitter to have a FP for a ride the little one can enjoy while the bigger folks ride the other. Just remember the CM at the "big" ride needs to see the child in order to give the rider swap pass - so everyone needs to go to FoP, then the big folks can enter the FoP queue while the child & babysitter go to NRJ to use their FPs there.

Thank you for clarifying. That helps a lot.

Good news! Her Mom thought that she needed a FP+ as well for the rider swap to work. This will be much nicer for her. Thanks!
