now where did THAT come from?

Have you ever found something in your house and wondered where it came from?


I found a garage opener in my house, it was on a key chain and matched the one dh uses. I thought maybe he lost his so I hung it up with the rest of the keys. Well it wasnt his and it didnt work on our door. So how the heck did it get to my house???? I asked all of my friends and none of them are missing any, no one else has been in my house that I know of. The only thing I can figure is that someone accidently put it in one of the kids' backpacks by mistake so now I have to go to all 3 schools and see if anyone is missing it.


So what have you found in your house and had to wonder where it came from?

Yes, we have a pool, we always have tons of stuff that doesn't belong to us. I'll ask every kids, is this yours, is this yours, is this yours. Then two years from now their MOm will see it and go HEY that is ours. I usually return everything except this year I have a bunch of extra beach towels and once I gave away a black hoodie because I had it for over a year.

About 40 yrs ago we came home from school and/or work one day to find a blue blazer hanging off a chair in the dining room. We'd ALL been out all day. My mother was confident enough in her relationship with my father that she kidded him about it belonging to his "fling."

We never did find out where it came from & we still joke about it.

we find strange things all the time in our house, we too have the pool, so we started with 6 beach towels and now have 15,,, we have afreind that has a daigital cam that takes floppy discs and last month we opened our camera case and found some of her discs in t here,,, thing is we havent been around each other taking pics in months and the discs were recent

It was hanging in my coat closet. Another person at my church was missing her blue raincoat with a message in the bulletin and everything.

Only thing i can think of is that DH thought her blue raincoat was my blue raincoat and brought it home with us after church one Sunday.

Dh isn't so good with clothing details. He put the DD clothes on backward half the time when she was a baby. How can you not know which side goes in front? He was also wearing his shirt inside out last week.
Plus side is he is the Computer/electrical/electronic master in our house.
