We have our ADR's, we have loosley planned our days, I have made spreadsheets for packing and activites not to miss. What do I need to do now? We leave in 33 days and I know there has to be something else I can do to make our trip memorable. Any ideas?

Have you checked out the DISign boards? We are making t-shirts, autograph books, passports for Epcot, journals, pressed penny money tubes, mousekeeping envelopes...

The list goes on and on for the things you can do. Check it out and see what sparks your interest!

The Creative DISigns board is awesome...you are sure to be inspired. I love the ideas for autograph books, and think I will make some passports this year.

Other things to prepare:

* start collecting/buying items to put in backpacks to keep kids busy for the trip to WDW...like coloring books, books, small toys, etc. Dollar Store is great for this stuff, as well as Target Dollar Spot and The Disney Store (sale/clearance items preferred!!)

* fill m&m tubes with stacks of 2 quarters and 1 penny for penny pressing

* if you will trade pins, start looking for trading pins to purchase online

* make sure any summer gear you are bringing still fits, etc. Packing kids clothes in gallon size ziplocks is a great way to stay organized.

* if you are doing Tink gifts, start preparing those. Or include special items like swim goggles, Disney jibbitz, sunglasses, disposable cameras, etc in the kids travel backpacks.

* make sure walking shoes are broken in for your entire party!!

* make sure you have your toiletries/medications/OTC meds/ etc

* make sure your camera is ready and you are stocked on sd cards, batteries, etc. and practice your quick draw!!

* again on the Creative DISigns board, prepare and print invitations for each ADR...sneak them out at an appropriate time (ie: overnight so kids see an invite to breakfast w/Cinderella...still fun, even if the kids know about the ADR).

Happy planning!

Hit up the local dollar store for all the little things: suction cups for toothbrushes, ponchos, little fun things in the toy aisle, etc.

Make sure all of your prescriptions are in order.

Start setting things aside you know you're going to take.

Relax and enjoy the final month!

Thanks for all the great ideas! Can anyone send me a link to find templates or ideas for the character meal invitations? I have been looking and can't seem to find them.

It is fun to roll up the invitation like a scroll, print of parchment like paper, put in a bottle, put in a huge envelope and pretend it has arrived in your room by sliding under the door, enhance w/glitter, stickers, etc......check out:

A hint....look in the signatures of the designers. They have their designs there and you can look and do something yourself or request they personalize something for you. They are very talented and generous over there. There are also sticky notes at the top of the board w/great addresses to collect Disney clip art.
