pirate: :earseek: After hours of postings, questions and research on this great DIS Site, Our WDW trip is booked, the deposit has been sent.....it's too early to make Dining Reservations.......
I CAN'T JUST SIT AND DO NOTHING DISNEY WORLD-ish....Now what do I do??!! Having post-planning withdrawls....YIKES ! Not going until next year !!
Any ideas, suggestions, great tips, feedback etc......
I Love reading all of you comments !
THANKS SO MUCH !! :wave2:

I know...It is so hard!! :rotfl2:

I watch the planning video, and it never hurts to haunt these boards getting a virtual "fix". :rotfl:

Just reading the boards got me through the wait. I have learned so much. I hope I can remember it all.

I am already thinking of next summner and same month-September!
Cant figure out though how to book it on Disney site though because Delta wont go more than 331 days from todays date. :confused3

Oh there's lots of things! :flower:

Go to your local bookstore and browse the 9 million WDW related travel books - and maybe even buy a couple to read at home! :)

Also highly recommended - read some books on Walt Disney and the history of the Disney Company if you never have - they are fascinating beyond words! :goodvibes

Get on these boards and talk about WDW until your fingers bleed - we're always up for it!

Loads of websites about WDW - of course, wdwinfo.com is the best, but it never hurts to "look around" - as long as you come back home! :Pinkbounc

If you have one, go to your local Disney store. Download some Disney tunes to your cell phone. Look at your pictures and think about past trips. See if you can figure out game plans to make your trip better so you can do more with less waits and lines. I planned for our trip for over 6 months before we went and I have been several times. But through this site and a few others, I learned a lot and had the best trip of my life. I was at WDW in September of last year when Hurricane Ivan came through. Everyone had evacuated Florida so we had the parks just about to ourselves. We then went again in June of this year and it was a better trip even though it was a lot more crowded. It all has to do with planning and asking the right questions.

I know the feeling... my next trip isn't until May! We'll be staying at OKW w/my parents, so that reservation has been booked. But it's too early to make any other definite plans! Reading and responding to posts on here helps me :-)

You DIS'ers are the BEST !
I love reading your responses, it makes me feel a tad closer to
DISNEYdom !!
I'll keep on truckin' !!
THANKS :grouphug:

Read some travel guides. Get the Passporter book.

Take another trip through the Food pictures in the Dining forum. Also, look at the home-made T-shirt thread.

Try logging on to www.live365.com and use Disney as your search. You'll get all sorts of radio stations that play nothing but Disney music including ride and parade audio and countless tunes that you can't get anywhere. My personal favorites are MouseHouseRadio, RadioBuenaVista and ParkHopperRadio. It's audio prozac for me, keeping me in a good frame of mind, and from time to time I can close my eyes and the music takes me right to that show/ride/attraction.....it's awesome!

I have just over 4 months to go and I am in Disney Planning Overload!!! Like the Thread author, I have already made my ressies and am waiting for the right "moment" to prepurchase my tix. I am looking at dinning options, reading guide books, browsing DIS Discussions, reading trip reports (wishing it was me). I will likely go insane prior to my trip.

Still shopping for the best price. So far, the cheapest I have found are through Ticketmania. I am betting I will not find a better deal but I haven't given up hope. :rolleyes1
