Ok Mouseketeers, I got the White Rabbit email and the 20/30/40 pin. I want to go to WDW! BUT, I'm on a budget! (As in, how cheap can we go....)

Last trip, DD13 & I did a Pop/Free DDP trip, and 10 days ran us about $1400 I think (upgraded tix to FL APs). Another trip like that is affordable. I could probably do a little more.....

So, if I took the 40% deal and went Deluxe (Poly, AKL?)/DDP how much more would I have budget, vs Pop/Free QSDP + upgrade to at least DDP (thinking about DxDP)?

Sidebar - IF I do the 40% deluxe deal, I could do garden view at the Poly, but I'm not sure about booking standard at AKL - we did one night there in 07, and looked at the parking lot - DD was disappointed! AKL savannah view is a must. If I really ponied up, are the standard club rooms really standard room with a club key? I don't think the snacks are worth the extra if I'm overlooking the parking lot again!

I'm open on travel dates - For FD, I'd like Oct 1or2-10-12, and I'd consider going earlier, if it's the 40% deal, I could book as late as Dec (love going then). I wish they'd offer these type of deals for early Jan!

Enough babble. I wanna go to Disney World, I wanna not go bankrupt to do it, I wanna get the best bang for my buck.

A lot of that depends on time. How long do you want to go? Dh and I are staying at Wilderness Lodge for 10 days for $1600 with the 40%. I think it is great deal! We are debating getting the DDDP. With hoppers it would be $3500 for 10 days. You cant beat that!
