I'm looking at a quick trip to Universal next month.

I found if we book so that it's a qualifying stay (no AP discount) it will cost me 1029.38 (per room) but as platinum I should get the 100 credit.

If we book AP discount it's 945.00 (per room) and we get 2 AMC movietickets and $10 gift card for concessions

I'm thinking they are the same almost. lol

If you don't book using a qualifying stay, your platinum status may not be extended an extra 12 months. Then you have to stay 10 times after the six month grace period to retain your status another year. For such a small difference, I say go with the qualifying stay. Then you can enjoy Platinum status for one more year (call and make sure). But that's just my opinion. ;)

I agree. Plus the 100 credit can be used for almost anything.

I was thinking that made sense too. But first I have to find out if I lost my status when I updated my member info. When I was on the website it showed Plantinum and after I updated it now says Member !

I just emailed asking them. If I don't hear back soon I'll have to call in !
