What tours have you been on?

What are your favorites?

As DVC members do we get any discounts?

Really liked the Segway tour at EPCOT. Got a discount but don't remember if it was because of DVC or Disney Visa.

Around the World at Epcot is the Segway tour. Absolutely the most fun we've had at Disney. DVC discount is 15% and it was worth every penny. :thumbsup2

We have done the Segway tour at Epcot twice and loved it. They also have one at Fort Wilderness. Also, did the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK. I really enjoyed it, you get to see the utilidors. I will say though that it did wear me out. It lasts about 5 hours and you get lunch at Columbia Harbour House.

Living seas aqua tour at Epcot was awesome! DD9 and myself suited up in scuba gear with life vests also and you hang just beneath the surface inside the living seas and observe and swim with the fish, sea turtles, and sharks!! There was a 15% discount at the time I think with the disney visa. Here is a quote from the Dis "Epcot Seas Aqua Tour: Time to slip on your swimsuit and slip into the waters of the Living Seas. Your tour begins with a fascinating behind the scenes look at the aquarium. The grand finale is a half hour spent in the water with the inhabitants of this amazing facility. Your tour includes a group photo, refreshments, all of your gear and a T-shirt. PLEASE NOTE: Bathing suits are required. Wetsuits are provided and must be worn. Lockers are provided. Scuba certification is not needed. The water temperature will be in the mid-70s. No cameras/videotaping allowed. Other members of your party may be able to photograph you from inside the exhibit. Jewelry is not permitted and expectant mothers cannot participate.

Another vote for the Segway tour and the Keys to the Kingdom. Both were excellent.

Our favorites are the Backstage Magic (takes all day and visits all parks)
Segway tours (we have done both and like both with slight preference to FW)
Garden's of the World, and for a quick little inexpensive one, try "behind the seeds" at the land pavillion. There are discounts on all of them.

If you are staying CL at AKV, the best is Sunrise Safari!!! We also really enjoyed the Wanyama sunset safari at AKL, but it is a bit pricey and includes dinner at Jiko.

Between both Segway tours I also gave a slight preference to the FW one but DH really liked doing the one at Epcot.

There are DVC discounts on a number of the tours. We have done Keys to the Kingdom (twice!), Behind the Seeds and the Animal Kingdom tour that takes you backstage (for the life of me I can't remember the name of it!). They were all VERY enjoyable... I would recommend all of them. DH can't wait to try either of the Segway tours!

We've done the KTTK and Backstage Magic. Both were really good.

Backstage Magic really gets into the nitty gritty of how WDW is run. Not so much the lore of Disney, more the day to day workings. We saw one of the laundry facilities for example.

KTTK is a more trivia kind of MK tour.

Both were very good.

Let's see...Keys to the Kingdom, Hidden Treasures of Epcot (retired), Undiscovered Future World, Gardens of Epcot (during F & G), Yuletide Treasures, Backstage Safari (2x), Epcot Segway, FW Segway, and Sunset and Sunrise Safari. AP, DVC, AAA, and Disney Visa all provide discounts, often Visa is the deepest. I really liked Undiscovered Future World, and both Segway tours (I agree with nod to FW), and KTTK. I have to give up a day to do the Backstage Magic tour next, but I only like to do tours on longer trips.

We did The Behind the Steam Tour, it was really great but you better like trains. We learned all about the Disney trains and also a lot about Walt's railroad he built at his house.
We want to do the Segway tour next, alot of the other tours we want to do we have to wait until our youngest turns 14.
