"Now That's What I'm Talkin' 'Bout!"- Our 1st DVC stay-May 2010-Wrap Up 9/23

Hi there!

I finally made it here. I have to admit I haven't been to the boards much ever since we came back from our trip. :( But I am all caught up with your TR now. ;)

I haven't been to Sea World in so many years. I guess I will have to try to make it there next time. Also, your photo shoot pictures are amazing! Your girls are absolutely stunning. Congratulations!

I am really sorry we could not chat too much when we crossed paths at AKL. Our bus was waiting for us and we just had to go but it was nice to meet you in person anyways!

I love how your daughter is able to fall asleep anywhere. Mine is the total opposite.

Isn't Texas de Brazil amazing? As a Brazilian myself I have to say it is the closest thing to the real thing I have ever tasted in North America and, trust me, I have tried many. ;)

Anyways, I am subscribed to your journal now to make sure I don't miss out on any detail anymore. :thumbsup2

See you,
Q

Hi Leanne!
Don't feel too bad- i think with the summer it is hard to be on the DIS and now that schol is starting back up, things will slow down a bit - I hope so anyway!! I still cant get over that your kids are already in school- we have the whole month still to go!

I LOVE the pics of your photo shoot- your pics really make me want to book the photoshoot. My FAVORITE is the one of the girls in the hammock. They are just precious.

I loved your Seaworld update. I think after this trip we will start going to Universal and Seaworld for a day - I just have such a hard time parting with my precious Disney time. I cant even schedule in a morning at the pool lol!:rotfl2:

Can't wait to hear more. Also GREAT job on the C25K!!! You are really helping me to stay motivated and stick with it... so a BIG thank you my friend!!!!!!!!!

It's awesome that you guys enjoyed your Sea World day so much.

Love the pic of the girls sleeping in the car....too cute!

Love this last update on SeaWorld! :thumbsup2 I remember going when I was a teenager, and I loved the 'Shamu" show!

Sweet pictures of Joe and his girls-and especially of those tired little girls at the end of the day!

Hope Lindsey got off to a good start with school. We start on Monday.

So glad that you guys thoroughly enjoyed your Sea World adventure! Love the pictures of Joe and the girls, and of the sleeping girls in the car. So cute!

Hope school is going well so far!

Not sure if you are able to check DIS but I am really looking forward to meeting you and the family tomorrow (or today technically). :goodvibes

We understand!! We are all so busy the boards have been relatively quiet.

I love the picture of the girls sleeping in the car. I have to crack up with Josie--she is really good about finding a comfortable position!!

Great Seaworld updates Leanne! I do hope to try out SeaWorld one of these days! I think I want to go when it is a little cooler though - my brother just got back from a trip to Disney, and said that SW was by far the "hottest" feeling park - just not as much shade he said. Sounds like you guys had a great day! Love those pics of Daddy and his girls! :goodvibes

Sara
I hope you make it over there Sara! It's a fun place to visit. We probably won't go back until both girls are tall enough to ride everything. That will probably make for a completely different type of visit. SW is smokin' hot! I thought it felt much hotter there than the Disney parks myself. Thanks again Sara!

What a great day at Sea World! The more I look at your pictures, the more I want to make another trip to SW. Poor Lindsey and Josie....they were pooped!
The girls were pooped but they had an awesome time. It was a different experience for them. Lindsey only remembered bits of our 2003 trip so for both of them it was very different than the usual Disney touring. :goodvibes

Hello Leanne!
I have been MIA myself for quite some time... I am trying to catch up one TR at a time. Ashton and I have been enjoying your photos. The family photo session is beautiful...he took some really great shots of you guys (but, I would say he had a great subjects to work with...you guys shine with love and happiness). What a wonderful idea to have a family session in November with the extended family, what wonderful memories that will make.

Seaworld looks like so much fun! I love educational fun (geek that I am)...looks like you guys had a wonderful time there...makes me miss it even more...it will definatley be added to our next trip (whenever that may be; but, sometime next year I hope).

Sounds like you are doing a great job with your C25K and having fun with it! :thumbsup2

Have a great week!
:wave2: Connie
Thanks on the pics Connie! :goodvibes We won't go back to SW for a few years but we are REALLY looking into a cruise for spring or maybe Yellowstone in early summer. I also found out that it's going to require less than our yearly allotment to stay at the new DVC resort in Hawaii so that may enter our scope as well. I've been doing a lot of dreaming I tell ya! :lmao:

If you decide where you are going in the spring, let me know!

Hi, Leanne!! Don't worry-- life gets in the way for all of us at some point. This time of year always gets busy-- getting into the fall mode!
I really love Seaworld. It's a quality park-- just beautiful with excellent exhibits. At least Orlando is-- something about San Antonio just felt off. Definitely not as nice.
Thanks so much Kylie! SW is a nice place to visit. I'm a Disney dork so I always feel like I'm being blasphemous if I'm not on Disney property 24/7. :lmao:

This time of year is crazy for us and I just found out that I am coaching volleyball so it might be even busier than the norm. I will make do though and find time for my DIS friends! :goodvibes

Looks like ya'll had a good time, them girls are too cute!!! Glad you're back, we missed you too!!! :)
Glad to be back although, I have only been buy to read and jump off every now and then. I hope things lighten up soon but i"m not so sure. Cold weather will probably do the trick.

I have a question for you...first i hope you Dr. visit goes okay! Second, how is the fishing in November? Now any good guides or excursions we could look into. Joe, my Dad, my cousin and my brother are thinking of a small fishing day out while we are down the week of Thanksgiving. You are my FL expert so I always ask you first! :goodvibes

Great update Leanne, I love Sea World! I can't wait to go back, but I know for sure it won't be this year but hopefully next summer....we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Glad you had a nice evening with your brother to celebrate Joe's birthday!

Love the pictures of the girls sleeping, that's usually what I do in a car if I'm not driving:lmao:
I can't sleep in a car for anything. I can't relax when other people are driving. I'm such a dork I know.

I hope we are going to be able to hook up soon! I can't wait to meet you in person!:banana:

Back to school already?! :scared1: Yikes! I forget you guys get out a lot earlier than we do up here too. Can't believe it's already that time though.

So glad you enjoyed Sea World. It is such a neat park. :thumbsup2 Love all the pictures and the ones of the girls sleeping are too cute. Guess it was a busy day. :)
Hey girl! How is WDW treating you??? I can't wait to hear about it! I've been following you on FB. Sounds like you and the family are having a wonderful time!!

Great Sea World updates!

We went for the 1st time last year & really enjoyed it! How cool that you got to interact with the Dolphins & feed just about every creature in the park!

We start back to school next Thursday--so the kids are enjoying their last week of freedom!

Great update :thumbsup2. I love the picture of Josie sleeping in the car, she is all curled up :lmao:. We are going to get over to SW one day. I have looked at going to Bush Gardens too since it has been so long ago that I was there.
Thank you Mrs. Dana! My brother tells me that Busch Gardens is an awesome park too. It's more of a roller coaster park though. I don't know with Josie being so small that we would be able to experience everything like we'd want to. I hope you go! I want to know what you all think!

Nice update!! I hadn't heard of that restaurant until after I moved from FL and now I'm dying to try it but I haven't either had the time or car to go there the few times I've been back since May last year!!
Thanks so much! You SOOOOOOO have to make it to Texas de Brazil! It's pricey but fantastic!!!!

Hi Q!!! It was so fun that we ran into you at AKL. Beatriz is such a little doll baby! She is the reason that I looked around for you because I recognized her. She is sooooo cute! You and DH looked wore out that morning. How funny that we would finish breakfast at the very time that you would be waiting for your bus. :goodvibes

I'm glad you made it over and thank you so much for the kind words about the girls. :goodvibes

Girl I read your report after talking to Wendy and Stephanie, and I have to admit I am super bummed. I hope you will stick with the program. I've started week 6 this week (my neighbor made it through the 20 minute run!!! Yay!!! ).

I have a hard time parting with Disney time too. I have no interest at all to go to Universal....I will probably go back to SW and maybe try out Busch Gardens one of these days. :goodvibes

Hope the first week of school has gone okay for you!!! Talk soon!!

What fun feeding the dolphins. We didn't feed them, but we did sit and watch them for awhile. I remember the manatees, that tank seemed to go on forever. Love the Believe show. Definitely have to make it back to seaworld someday.

Oh, and check out my october ptr when you get a chance!

Just geting caught up on the DIS tonight- Wayne was at a fantasy football draft which meant chick flick and DIS for me!!!! I just wanted to make sure to stop in here and say hi!!! Hope the girls are loving school!!!!!

Also popping in to say hi! We have had a busy first week of school. Decided to make a change for Avery. Can't wait for ur next update. popcorn::

She and Josie have done really well with school so far. Neither has pulled any sticks and academically the work is looking great so we are off to a really good start. How is school for you?

Hope school is going well so far!
Thank you Julia! :goodvibes That was a wonderful day! School is going great so far so I couldn't be happier. It was sad to see Josie go off to Kindergarten but she is doing well and was definitely ready. Makes it easier when they aren't overwhelmed. ;)
