Lately it's been taking a bit longer. If things go smoothly, you can expect about 10 weeks from accepted offer to having the points in your account. Any hiccups can add a week or two and a fast ROFR (which sometimes does happen) can take off about a week.

There are so many hands that the paperwork has to go through, buyer, broker, seller, Disney, Title Co, Escrow, Disney, and so on.

Maybe it sits on someones desk for a couple of days, someone is on vacation, or they may have additional responsibilities.

Buyers are excited and want to close as fast as possible, Sellers may feel like a failure for selling, Brokers, Title, and Disney, it's just another day at work.

For us with The Timeshare Store once they had our check and documents it took another couple days for the seller to get their stuff back but within 2 weeks we were in the system!
