Now that the dust has settled....

CA to FL
Cat 7 (reclassified 6) Bonus!!
1 Adult & 1 DD (4 at time of sailing)
$4426.78 No Transfers or Insurance

I didn't have complete faith in my travel agent to be able to snag the room I wanted. I though she would have to go through too many bookings for all her clients so I called myself at 10:00am PST, was on hold for only 15 min! So glad I called myself I got the reclassified room and she didn't! I feel like I saved about $2100 with being one of the first callers and snagging what is really a cat 6 room with only a slightly blocked verandah.

Well, prices just jumped $1000 in 24 hours!! I wonder what they will be like tomorrow.

Yesterday at this time (4pm MDT), I checked DCL website and was quoted $3,869.78 for Cat 10 for Two adults.

Right now, it is at $4,869.78 for same cat 10 for two adults. This is with transfers and without air or insurance.

Well, hot. ;)

It will be hot (but usually not muggy) in LA. It will be very hot & muggy for the rest of the trip... the Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Caribbean and Florida ports will all have a lot of humidity.

The May repositioning cruise will have much nicer weather (and much less chance of hurricanes), which is part of the reason it's more expensive.
