We are here at the World and thought we'd share our dining experiences so far :)

Day one-The Plaza for dinner-I had the cheeseburger with bacon mushrooms and cheddar cheese and it was very good. My wife had the club and loved it. The fries here are the bext on property and the homemade chips are fantastic!

Day 2-Olivia's for breakfast-OMG! i had the shriimp, avacado and pepperjack omlet and it was the best omlet I have ever had!! You HAVE to try this! My wife had the Olivia platter with scrambled eggsm breakfast potatoes that were awesome! and bacon. It was good but her eggs were cold. Once we told the CM she brought our fresh hot ones :)

50's Prime Time!-we arrived early for our ADR but were seated within tem minutes. My wife had the always good chicken and I had the sampler platter. Everything was great. I'm not a fan of garlic so they could loose this fron the mashed potatoes and replace it with white cheddar, but I eat them any way.

More to come!

I would love to try the sampler next time we go there...I had he chicken and I had issues on that meal...it was a wee bit greasier then I am used to...But the hot fudge sundae at the end of our meal was out of sight...delishish..

Thanks for your reviews and I thought i would put you over here to get better replies..

Love the plaza. I get the turkey sandwich which is huge and delish. DH gets the burger but has learned that med rare is very rare. He now orders it med. Love the chips and fries. I also would like plain mashed potato at PT. Great reviews look forward to more!

We ate at Sci-Fi for a late lunch yesterday. I had the ribs....they were okay but nothing special. They tasted good but lacked the meatiness that you get at Ruby Tuesday or Frickers. My wife had the burger and said it was very good just two much for her to eat. Our waitress was Hannah and she was a treasure!

I should mention that even though they are not listed on the garnishment list, sliced dill pickles are available, you just have to ask for them :) ! We can't eat a burger without PICKLES!

We had eaten 'breakfast' at Staring Rolls earlier in the morning. I'd have to give this place a C-. You can make better cinnamon rolls from Pillsbury. They looked good, but lacked real flavor. I had the Turkey Foccacio. I wouldn't have ordered it if they put on the ingredient list that it had roasted peppers on it. They pretty much ruined the sandwich. The coffee was good so that was one positive. The cashier must have been new because she struggled to figure out how to ring up the "package" of a sandwish and piece of fruit. my wife ended up getting charged two extra times for an apple.

Tomorrow..Captians Grille for my birthday dinner!

Thursday we grabbed lunch at the CS by Yak n Yeti. We tried it after reading how good the spring rolls were on the boards. Although the pork spring rolls tasted very good they were a bit greasy. They needed to have to temp on the oil up 10-15 degrees. The Bud light tasted really really good on a very warm and muggy day :)

Dinner was my birthday treat and we went to the Captains Grille. I had eaten lunch there before and wanted to try dinner. I was glad I ddi! I had the chefs selection and chose the crab cake appetizer which was wonderful! it was mostly crab and very little filler and the onions were on the light side. My main course was pan seared crusted cod with veggies and desert was the chocolate cake which had me moaning with delight.

My wife had the strip steak and she thought it was good, but not as good as the ones I make at home. I am pretty good on the grill :) I was surprised that she liked the bourbon sauce for it :)

One more day to report on...where shall we have breakfast...

Happy Birthday! Thanks for sharing your dining reviews. We will be arriving next Fri. (time can't go by fast enough) so your reviews are very welcome. How is the weather? Are they expecting the humidity to continue. That is what kills me the most so I am hoping it dissipates by next week.

Thanks again for sharing!

Our last day Friday and all we had time for was breakfast so Olivia's it was. The seafood omlet was so good on Tuesday that i had to have it again. It was heavenly! The combination of avocados, shrimp and pepper jack cheese was unbelieveable :) I know I will have this many times in the future!

My wife had oatmeal because she was still feeling the effects of the poolside adult beverages and she said it was good...but too much to eat!

The only place we went not on the review was Ghiradeli's for chocolate chip ice cream. Thie is the oly place to get regular chocolate chip ice cream so it is a destination very trip!

We will be going back in November and I can hardly wait to try some new places and old favorites :cool1::disrocks::tinker::earseek:

Thanks for the reviews! I really found them helpful...think we need to add Captains Grille to one of our trips next year!

was supposed to be in the low 80's when we got there but it hit 88 the first day and the temp kept going up. It was 91 Friday but it made the cold beers all the more refreshing.

I know Olivia's is out of the way but they have great breakfasts and lunches!

Thanks for the birthday wishes and i hope all of you enjoy your vacations :)
