I just watched the video of Remember...Dreams Come True, and I just wanna bawl. What an awesome fireworks display...and I'm gonna miss it!

I love DL at Christmas time, but there are some very good reasons for visiting the park during other times of the year...big sigh. :sad1:

We went early Thanksgiving week last year, and we really missed seeing it, too. I LOVE that fireworks show!

We haven't been to DL since 2001, so I have never seen this particular fireworks display. In fact....DCA had just opened when we were last there, so there's quite a bit I haven't seen in California.

I was thinking about going to WDW next year, but maybe we'll head back to DL instead. It would be a whole lot cheaper and a much shorter plane ride as well.

why dont you overlap the Christmas and offseason in January.

I'd love to but we already purchased our plane tickets and would cost us $400 to change them. (There are 8 of us going in November) There are also vacations set at our places of work that would be hard to change now.

Oh well...it just gives me an excuse to make another trip to DL. Maybe just DH and I will go down for a few days next spring. Now that would be something totally different!

I just recieved a "companionship" offer from my Alaska Airlines Visa that I could use, ($50 plus tax) plus I believe that I have enough points to fly for 1/2 fare, so we could fly down there pretty cheap.

Oh boy....now I've really gone and dun' it. Got the old head spinning hard. :lmao:
