Now I Remember Why I Post on Everything (Early Christmas Wish)

I have a weblog (livejournal) and I don't have a lot of friends but I guess a few people read me from time to time. I had posted that I was trying to find the new XBOX for my DH but of course was unsuccessful. This weekend we had trekked to Best Buy to get the new season of Gilmore Girls on DVD before it spiked in price and saw a poster for the XBOX. We were not sure what it meant but four different workers told us they were receiving a shipment this past Sunday. DH decided to try and camp out for a product for the first time in his life but when he got there at 11 pm there were already 25 people in line. He didn't stay because his chances of receiving one were very slim. He was dissapointed but said he was happy he was going to be sleeping in his warm bed that night.

This evening I was just sitting on our furniture when my cell phone rang. I did not recognize the number but answered it like I usually do. It was my lucky day. The girl introduced herself and said she was a friend of one of my friends and then said she read my LiveJournal. She asked if I was still interested in the XBOXs because she works at Circuit City and they just received a shipment. I asked if it was the premium model and she said yes and asked if I would like her to hold one for us. I said yes and we'd be right there. I've never seen my DH jump up from the couch so fast and be ready to go out the door.

So, see, it does pay to be on the DIS or LJ each day several times!!
