Now I can't decide, Pop or ASMO?

I have a reservation at Pop for Feb.9-12 but tonight I was looking at pictures of ASMO and now I can't decide. My kids are 5 and 7.

If we were to do ASMO I would definitely want to be in either Toy Story or Dalmations. Would we be able to get in one of these if we request it?

They do try to honor the requests but its no guarantee. The rooms are the same size. PC has bigger TV sets.

I had to jump in here - the POP is great and only a yr old! If you read the POP reviews you'll see nearly everyone loves it there,e ven when we are used to the deluxe resorts. Soemthing neat about the POP. And if your little ones want to see fireworks you can request a room in the 50's , building 2, lake side. Or for a short walk without paying for a preferred room (some of which are not a short walk!) request 50's , building 3 facing pool or closest to Food Court building.

I'm going down for mousefest and will be staying at POFQ, but kind of wishing I was at the POP instead. In Sptember I was at the GF - no comparison in many ways, but the POP is such a fun resort.

I don't think you'll be sorry!! Have you looked at the photos of the POP? Lady and Tramp, Mickey Phone, characters from the Jungle Book -too cute!!

We spent one night at ASMO a few years back, and my ds and I stayed at Pop this summer. My choice is Pop, hands down!

Although I LOVED this last trip to ASMovies. I have to say POP is just a smidge better.. AND its about 2.5% less in taxes. Both are GREAT resorts. When I made this past ressie it was hard, but I really wanted to try ASMovies. I did, and I'm glad I did, but POP is just awesome. HAVE FUN.

Another vote for pop. There is a neat goofy interactive fountain where the water jets squirt randomly and kids love. There is also a twister game in the courtyard. The food court has frozen cokes for the refillable mugs. There is a lake and your family can rent surrys. Transportation is much better too!

i agree...children are daughter 7 and son 4..will almost be 5..when we go down in december..we went in february and stayed at pop...we were also torn between all star movies and pop and i am soo glad we stayed at pop...we are going back to pop in december...we cant wait!!!

Also when leaving the parks at night the buses for PC are so much better and come more offten. The lines for ASMovies & ASSports just thought you would like this info.

I stayed at POP this summer and it was really great. The kids (2 and almost4) loved the pools. It is the only value i have ever stayed at and the first Disney resort i have stayed at in about 5 years.
