We presently have ressies at Holiday Inn Universal/$74.00 per night E-Rate for 4 nights......However, I checked package rates
with Universal vacations, and We can get, Amerisuites with breakfast, universal bonus pass, R/T hotel-airport transfers for
$590.00 total, or Fairfield Inn (with breakfast) at $603.00 total.....Travel dates are December 28-Jan 1st....

We also plan to buy tickets for one of the murder mystery shows, and possibly one other activity, not sure yet....We were hoping to visit Epcot for one day, but I think we need to save Disney for another time

If we plan to do other attractions should we buy the universal bonus pass, or the 3day park pass?????

All suggestions welcome.....

I dunno, I've heard weird things about the Holiday Inn. The Amerisuites seems to have better reviews.

On your tickets, the bonus pass, are you talking about the AP pass that has blackout dates? If you don't think you will be back in a year, then go ahead and get the 2 day/3rd day free pass. Otherwise, get an AP and join the club.
